XWS-3002 Water Separator & PF-3001 Particulate Filter

The FASS Titanium Series Fuel Filter Package (XWS-3002-PF-3001) provides advanced fuel filtration with its Extreme Water Separator and Particulate Filter. The XWS-3002 is rated at an absolute 2 microns, efficiently trapping water within its element, eliminating the need for a drain. This water separator must be used in conjunction with the PF-3001 Particulate Filter. The PF-3001 Particulate Filter is rated at 144 microns and is designed to be placed on the suction side of the pump. This placement significantly reduces cavitation, enhances flow properties, and lowers the overall sound output of the FASS system, while also removing larger fuel particulates. These new filters (XWS-3002 and PF-3001) cannot be used with older FASS filter models like the FF-3003/FF-3010 or FS-1001/FS-1020. When replacing discontinued filters, the XWS-3002 is installed on the pressure side and the PF-3001 on the suction side. Proper placement is crucial, and users should refer to the location diagram on the filters.
