Description

The Vmaxx XXtreme coilovers offer adjustable damping and ride height to provide improved handling and compression travel on 1999-2005 Mazda Miata and 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed Miata (MSM) models. Engineered with a shorter rear shock body to enhance compression travel at lower ride heights, this setup includes 391 lb/in front and 258 lb/in rear spring rates for a firm yet streetable ride. Installation requires the reuse of factory shock mount parts, as this kit does not include them; it is recommended to replace aging factory shock shaft bushings during installation. Importantly, these coilovers are not compatible with Flyin' Miata rear upper mounts due to the potential for excessive compression travel, and use of factory upper mounts is required. Flyin' Miata is the exclusive US distributor for this suspension, and warranty coverage is provided for two years. As a note on fitment, kits sourced from other distributors may lack correct spring rates and warranty support.
