YCP Series Forged Piston Set, 75.00mm Bore

The Vitaria YCP-75MMKIT is a complete set of four pistons, pins, clips, and a Riken ring set engineered for D-Series engine blocks, specifically intended for turbo or forced induction setups. These YCP pistons are manufactured from a stronger AC8A grade casting than OEM components and undergo T-6 heat treatment to increase their strength and resistance to heat. They feature 19mm floating wristpins compatible with aftermarket D16 forged connecting rods and dual oil holes for superior wristpin lubrication. Installation notes recommend orienting the pistons with arrows pointing towards the flywheel side of the engine for correct valve relief and piston pin offset. Recommended piston-to-wall clearance is .0025", with top and second piston ring end gaps between .020"-.024", and oil control ring end gaps at a minimum of .015". These pistons are available in 75mm, 75.5mm, and 76mm bore sizes and are compatible with various Honda Civic models, including the 2 Door Coupe (1994-2001), 3 Door Hatchback (1987-2001), 4 Door Sedan (1987-2001), and 5 Door Hatchback (1995-1997), primarily for D15 and D16 SOHC engines.
