The EBC Brakes Yellowstuff DP41157R is a high-performance disc brake pad set designed for versatility, excelling in both street and track environments. Utilizing an aramid fiber-based compound, these pads deliver significant braking force from cold temperatures and continue to improve as they heat up, making them ideal for demanding driving conditions. Key features of the Yellowstuff compound include its high friction coefficient, zero fade characteristics under heavy use, and effectiveness even before reaching optimal operating temperatures. This makes them a strong choice for performance street driving, track days, towing, and fleet duty. Designed to work with OEM calipers, these pads offer a "Performance Over Stock" rating of 4, suitable for track day and towing applications. They boast better high-speed stopping capabilities and a more positive pedal feel due to their slightly harder compound. While they are not a low-dust option, their performance benefits are substantial. EBC Brakes backs these pads with a 1-year or 10,000-mile warranty. They are designed with edge chamfers to reduce noise and feature a Brake-In surface coating to condition the disc surface and accelerate pad bed-in.
