This battery features Spiralcell Technology for consistent power output and faster recharging capabilities. It is maintenance-free, completely non-spillable, and can be mounted in multiple positions. The YellowTop provides 15 times more vibration resistance and up to three times longer life compared to standard flooded batteries.

Built with Optima's signature Spiralcell Technology, this battery offers faster recharging capabilities and a more stable power output than conventional flat-plate batteries. Furthermore, the YellowTop boasts 15 times the vibration resistance of standard batteries and can last up to three times longer, making it a durable choice for demanding applications. This battery is ideal for high-performance street-driven vehicles with numerous electrical accessories, and it has also been utilized in racecars that have had their alternators removed. The D51R is specified for vehicle applications requiring a Group 51R battery size. Specific vehicle fitments include the Nissan R35 GTR, Honda S2000, and certain Honda Civic models, among others. Dimensions are approximately 9.31 inches in length, 5.06 inches in width, and 8.94 inches in height, with a weight of around 26 pounds. Important purchasing notes include that this item ships by ground only to the Lower 48 Continental United States and does not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, nor internationally.
