Installation involves professional-level mechanical work on the vehicle's rear differential. It is recommended to use the provided master install kit to ensure longevity and proper gear mesh. Reusing factory shim packs is generally not recommended; ensure the correct bearing preload and gear backlash are set during installation.
The YGK2099 is compatible with various Ford F-150, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator vehicles equipped with the 9.75-inch rear axle. Compatibility is contingent on the axle having 34-spline shafts. It is not suitable for vehicles equipped with different axle models or spline counts.
