Description

The Yukon Muscle Car Limited Slip & Re-Gear Kit is a comprehensive differential upgrade designed to enhance traction and durability for GM 8.5" differentials. This kit integrates a Yukon Dura Grip positraction limited-slip differential (LSD) with 28 splines, along with an upgraded ring and pinion gear set. The 3.08 gear ratio is included to provide improved acceleration. Key components of this kit consist of a Dura Grip positraction LSD with 28 splines, a 3.08 ratio ring and pinion set, a 10-bolt ring gear, a 28-spline pinion gear, and bearings with a 2.25" outer diameter. The kit comes with all necessary bearings and installation hardware, providing a complete solution for re-gearing and improving differential performance. This re-gear kit is designed for vehicles equipped with a GM 8.5" differential. Its coverage extends to classic performance models such as the 1970-1981 Firebird Trans Am and the 1970-1977 GTO. Additionally, it is suitable for 25 other models and any vehicle that has been hot-rodded and features a GM 8.5" differential.
