Z SERIES V.7 15IN SUBWOOFER D2 (2750 WATT)

The Sundown Audio Z v.7 is an ultra-high excursion subwoofer designed for extreme low-frequency performance in compact ported enclosures. It features the largest Z-Series motor built by Sundown, with a quad-stacked 265mm (10.43") diameter motor and 100mm (3.94") magnet height, offering approximately 50% higher BL²/Re than the previous Z v.6. It achieves 42mm one-way linear Xmax at 70% BL with over 4 inches of peak-to-peak mechanical travel. Advanced cooling includes a patent-pending airflow-directing pole cap, six pole OD channels, sixteen gap vents, and a cross-drilled slotted top plate. Built on Sundown's patented Mega-Platform cast frame and powered by a 3.3" 4-layer round wire aluminum voice coil with a custom fat-wire winding method. Optimized for small ported enclosures; not recommended for sealed enclosures.
