The Powerstop Z17 Evolution Geomet brake kit is a front brake upgrade specifically designed for 2005-2006 Saab 9-2X models. This kit provides an affordable, all-in-one solution for restoring braking performance and aesthetic appeal, featuring Z17 Evolution ceramic pads, rotors treated with Geomet 360 coating, and premium stainless-steel hardware. The ceramic brake pads feature a low-dust formula validated through third-party testing to help keep wheels clean. To ensure a quiet commute, the pads utilize multi-layer rubberized shims that effectively insulate noise. The rotors are coated inside and out to provide robust protection against rust and corrosion without sacrificing performance. Each kit is manufactured to original equipment specifications and includes all necessary components for a standard installation, including high-temperature brake lubricant. These components are mill-balanced to ensure smooth, reliable operation. Prior to installation, it is recommended to clean the rotors with mild soap and water to ensure optimal surface contact.
