It is a bolt-on upgrade for stock brakes, requiring no modifications.

The Power Stop KC2742 Z23 Evolution Sport Brake Upgrade Kit with Powder Coated Calipers offers a comprehensive solution for drivers seeking to enhance their vehicle's braking system. This kit is designed as an easy, bolt-on upgrade, meaning no modifications are necessary for installation. The kit includes Z23 Carbon-Fiber Ceramic brake pads, engineered for significantly improved braking performance compared to traditional ceramic pads. Complementing the pads are Drilled & Slotted performance rotors, which provide maximum cooling efficiency and are zinc-plated for superior protection against rust and corrosion. The kit also features striking Red Powder Coated Calipers, which not only resist corrosion but also enhance the appearance behind the wheels. Installation is facilitated by the inclusion of premium stainless-steel hardware, abutment clips, brake lubricant, and mounting brackets. A recommended break-in procedure is provided to maximize performance: perform 5 moderate to aggressive stops from 40 mph to 10 mph (avoiding complete stops), followed by 5 moderate stops from 35 mph to 5 mph without allowing the brakes to cool, and finally, a 5-minute drive at moderate speeds to cool the brakes. It is advised to never cool the brakes with water. This Power Stop Z23 Evolution Kit is specifically designed to fit the 2009-2010 Acura TSX and the 2008-2010 Honda Accord. Users have reported significant improvements in braking power and a quieter ride.
