The PowerStop Z23 Evolution front brake kit is a comprehensive performance upgrade designed to replace factory components with a more capable, bolt-on solution. Each kit includes Z23 carbon-fiber ceramic brake pads, drilled and slotted rotors with a rust-resistant zinc-plated finish, premium stainless-steel hardware, and high-temp brake lubricant. The pads are engineered with a low-dust formula to improve braking power while keeping wheels cleaner than standard OEM pads. This specific kit is designed exclusively for 5-lug RWD models, covering various 1979-1981 vehicles including the Buick Century and Regal, Chevrolet El Camino, Malibu, and Monte Carlo, GMC Caballero, Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, and Pontiac Grand Am, Grand LeMans, Grand Prix, and LeMans. It is not compatible with models outside of these specific parameters or configurations. Installation is intended as a direct bolt-on upgrade, though owners should consult their vehicle's service manual or a professional installer to ensure correct setup.
