The Power Stop Z23-2144 Evolution Sport brake pads are engineered as a direct upgrade for your vehicle's rear braking system. This formulation is specifically chosen for increased stopping power without compromising everyday drivability. These brake pads utilize a positive mold technology to ensure consistent wear and performance throughout their lifespan. The thermal scorched pad surface promotes a fast and efficient break-in period. For a quiet operation, the pads are chamfered and slotted, and include multi-layer rubberized shims. The powder-coated backing plate offers resistance to rust and corrosion, contributing to extended pad life. The friction material composition is Carbon Fiber Ceramic, and the pads come with a scorched friction surface for optimal initial performance. Included in this kit is all the necessary stainless-steel hardware to complete the installation, along with ceramic brake lubricant. The pads also feature built-in wear indicators and mechanical pad wear sensors to alert you when replacement is needed. These pads are rated low for dust levels and offer a stopping power of 3/5 and a noise level of 4/5, indicating a balance between performance and daily usability. This specific Z23-2144 part is designed for the rear of various Genesis G70 models from 2018 through 2026, across multiple trims including Advanced, Base, Prestige, Sport, Sport Advanced, and Sport Prestige.
