The PowerStop Z26 Street Warrior Brake Upgrade Kit offers a significant performance boost for drivers seeking improved braking capabilities. The Z26 kit is recommended for those who prioritize performance driving. This comprehensive kit includes PowerStop's proprietary Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Z26 brake pads, known for their enhanced heat dissipation compared to typical ceramic pads. They are paired with cross-drilled and slotted rotors made from cast iron, which are zinc-plated for maximum rust protection. The pads feature stainless-steel shims to manage increased temperatures common in performance applications. It comes complete with premium stainless-steel installation hardware and high-temperature ceramic brake lubricant, ensuring proper assembly and performance. The rotors are coated for added protection. The Z26 kit is suitable for "Performance Street" driving qualifiers and is categorized as a "Commuter/OE Upgrade." The PowerStop K1304-26 kit is specifically designed for 5-lug models of the Ford Mustang Cobra from the years 1994-1999, 2001, and 2003-2004. For example, it fits the 2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1 RWD and the 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1 RWD, as well as SVT Cobra models from 1996-1999 and 2001/2003-2004.
