It's an excellent upgrade for those planning performance suspension setups or seeking preventative maintenance to ensure the integrity of their rear suspension. The shock mount itself secures the shock absorber to the vehicle's chassis or body, requiring a balance of strength and flexibility to manage road vibrations and impacts. Symptoms of a worn or damaged shock mount can include clunking or banging noises over bumps, increased body roll during cornering, and excessive bouncing.
