Z3 Turbo Kit with Precision 6262 Turbo

The ZZPerformance Z3 Turbo Kit is engineered to be a complete and high-performance turbocharger system, offering significant advantages over factory superchargers by providing greater efficiency, less parasitic loss, and cooler discharge air. This results in improved drivability and overall performance, transforming naturally aspirated 3800 engines from approximately 200-300 HP to over 400 HP with an intercooler. For supercharged 3800 engines, this kit can achieve 400-700 HP depending on the configuration. Key components include a Precision 6262 turbocharger with a .63 AR exhaust housing, a TiAL 38mm external wastegate that vents to atmosphere, TIG welded 304 stainless steel crossover pipe, and a TIG welded 304 stainless steel downpipe with options for a 2.5" or 3" exit. It also includes a K&N air filter, Autolite 103 spark plugs, and a complete oil feed and return system that does not require tapping the oil pan. Compatibility is available for 1997 Grand Prix, 1998-2003 Grand Prix/2000-2005 Monte Carlo/Impala, and 2004+ Grand Prix models. The kit can be adapted for Bonneville and works with Impala, Regal, Grand Prix, and Monte Carlo, but does not work on F-body vehicles. Users have options for intake manifold configurations, including an M90 blockoff plate or an intercooled blockoff plate for L67/L32 engines, or a modified naturally aspirated upper and lower intake with an HV3 installed. Recommended supporting modifications and requirements include a PCM tune (email remote tuning is highly recommended), a fuel injector upgrade, and potentially a fuel pump rewire, stage 1 voltage booster, and an aftermarket 3" exhaust. For kits operating over 14psi or 400WHP, a 1" transmission chain is advised, and an oversized radiator is recommended for turbo applications.
