The GKTech Z33 350Z W underbody brace is designed as a strong yet lightweight replacement for the original Nissan W brace. Recognizing that the OEM part can degrade over time and is expensive to replace, GKTech developed this direct-fit solution. It is fabricated from multiple sheets of 2.0mm 4130 steel, featuring dimple dies for enhanced rigidity and inner uprights for added strength. The brace is precision TIG welded and finished with an e-coating to ensure durability and resistance to corrosion, aiming for long-term performance and longevity. This brace directly replaces the OEM part number 74870-CD200. Installation is straightforward, requiring no modifications. The process involves removing the original W brace and installing the GKTech unit. It is designed for a simple bolt-on application, with estimated installation times of approximately 5 minutes on a hoist or about 30 minutes if working on the ground. This makes it an accessible upgrade for DIY enthusiasts. This underbody brace is specifically designed for the Z33 350Z model. It is explicitly stated that these braces will not fit V35 or G35 models. GKTech manufactures parts only for the vehicles listed on their website.
