The Power Stop Z36 Truck and Tow Brake Kit is a performance brake upgrade engineered for trucks and SUVs that haul heavy loads or frequently travel in hilly terrain. This kit includes Z36 carbon-fiber infused ceramic brake pads, drilled and slotted rotors, and high-heat powder-coated calipers to provide increased stopping power and thermal management.

The Power Stop Z36 Truck and Tow Brake Kit is designed to address the decreased braking performance that often occurs when towing heavy loads, hauling, or running larger wheels. The kit includes Z36 carbon-fiber infused ceramic pads, G3000 grade cast iron rotors, and performance calipers. The rotors feature beveled drill holes to reduce operating temperatures and slots to efficiently sweep away dust and gas. They are finished with a silver zinc plating to prevent rust. The accompanying brake pads use a ceramic formula with stainless steel shims for quiet operation and include a powder-coated backing plate. The calipers are electrostatically finished in a high-heat powder-coat to resist corrosion and are equipped with high-temperature EPDM rubber seals for longevity. This kit is compatible with 2003-2007 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 models. Installation can be performed at home by a knowledgeable DIYer or by a professional mechanic, as all necessary hardware, including new bleed screws and pins, is included in the package. Please note that this kit is strictly for street and recreational off-road use and is not approved for competitive racing. Proper break-in procedures are required to prevent disc thickness variation, and failure to follow these guidelines or the use of non-approved DOT 5 silicone brake fluid is not covered under the manufacturer's 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.
