Z54 Turbocharger

The ZZP Z54 Turbo is a journal bearing turbocharger developed as a more budget-friendly option compared to the dual ball bearing ZFR series, while still delivering impressive performance. This turbo has been tested to extreme power levels, with one configuration achieving 480 wheel horsepower on E85. It is designed to directly replace the factory K04 turbo on LNF motors, allowing for the reuse of existing intake and exhaust parts without the need for adapters. The compressor features a 54mm inducer and a 67mm exducer, with an inlet size of 2.5” and an outlet size of 2”. The turbine side utilizes a K04 inlet and outlet, with a 58mm inducer and a 51mm exducer. Installation requires that boost be controlled by the ECM, necessitating a tune setup specifically for this turbo, with modifications primarily needed for the wastegate duty cycle chart. This ZZP product comes with a standard 2-year warranty. Important fitment notes: This turbocharger does not fit the LNF 2.0L Saturn Sky Redline or Pontiac Solstice GXP models. Additionally, the Z-series and ZFR turbos, including this Z54, are not compatible with the stock intercooler charge pipes on the LHU Regal; a specific intercooler kit is available to address this.
