Z54 Turbocharger

The ZZPerformance Z54 Turbocharger is the result of over two years of development and testing, bringing ZZP's popular Z54 and Z57 technology to the LTG engine platform. Building on the success of their ZFR bolt-on turbo, known for high horsepower and minimal lag, the Z54 offers a more budget-friendly option without compromising performance. Designed as a direct bolt-in replacement for the factory TD04 turbo on LTG engines, this turbocharger utilizes your existing intake and exhaust systems, eliminating the need for adapters. While boost control remains managed by the ECM, a tune adjustment, particularly for the wastegate duty cycle, is required for optimal performance with the Z54. The turbo comes complete with all necessary installation hardware, a v-band outlet adapter, and coolant and oil lines. Specifications for the Z54 turbo include a compressor with a 2.5-inch inlet, a 2-inch outlet, a 54mm inducer, and a 67mm exducer. The turbine features a TD04 inlet and outlet, with a 58mm inducer and a 51mm exducer. This turbocharger is backed by ZZP's standard 2-year warranty. The Z54 turbo is configured for the 2.0-liter Cadillac ATS, CTS, and Chevrolet Camaro. A separate FWD fitment version is available for models like the Regal and Malibu, and may fit other transverse-mounted LTG engines. It is important to note that the Z54 turbo is significantly larger than the stock TD04. ZZPerformance strongly advises against running this turbo on stock engine internals, as it has the potential to cause engine damage.
