Description

The ZZP Kappa Z54 Turbo is a journal bearing turbocharger engineered as a direct bolt-in replacement for the factory K04 turbo on the LNF engine, specifically for the Kappa chassis Solstice and Sky. This turbo aims to provide an affordable alternative to more expensive dual ball bearing and titanium-alloy options while still delivering impressive power gains and minimizing turbo lag. This turbocharger features a 54mm compressor inducer and a 67mm exducer, with a 2.5” inlet and 2” outlet. The turbine side has a K04 inlet and outlet, with a 58mm inducer and a 51mm exducer. The Kappa version comes complete with specific lines, a coupler, and a billet wastegate actuator, allowing you to reuse your existing intake and exhaust components without adapters. Installation of the Z54 turbo requires your ECM's tune to be set up for this specific turbocharger. The primary tuning adjustment needed will be to the wastegate duty cycle chart. ZZP backs this product with their standard 2-year warranty.
