Z57 Turbocharger

The ZZPerformance Z57 Turbocharger represents a significant upgrade for the LTG engine platform, developed over two years of testing. Building on ZZP's extensive experience with Ecotec turbos, this Z57 model brings enhanced performance capabilities to the LTG market. It features Inconel wastegate hardware for superior durability in demanding conditions and a V-band compressor outlet, facilitating easier customization for various platforms and engine setups. Engineered as a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory TD04 turbo, the Z57 eliminates the need for intake and exhaust adapters, simplifying installation. While the ECM will continue to control boost, a custom tune is required, with particular attention to the wastegate duty cycle. The turbo is backed by ZZP's standard 2-year warranty. Key specifications include a compressor inlet of 2.5”, outlet of 2” (V-band), inducer of 57mm, and exducer of 71mm. The turbine side features a TD04 inlet, LTG-TD04 outlet, 63mm inducer, and 56mm exducer. This turbo is configured for the 2.0-liter Cadillac ATS, CTS, and Chevy Camaro. A separate FWD fitment version is available for vehicles like the Regal and Malibu, and it may fit other transverse-mounted LTG engines. It is crucial to note that the Z57 turbo is substantially larger than the stock TD04. ZZPerformance strongly advises against running this turbo on stock engine internals due to the potential for engine damage.
