The BRIDE ZETA IV Bucket Seat represents the latest evolution of the ZETA series, a line of full bucket seats that have been successful in numerous races since 1990. Designed with a focus on driver safety and support, the ZETA IV is suitable for a broad spectrum of automotive uses, including road driving, circuit racing, and competition. Its shell has been meticulously sculpted to conform to the human body shape and skeleton, ensuring superior holdability, comfort, and durability for extended periods of driving. Crafted with BRIDE's extensive manufacturing technology and experience, the ZETA IV achieves a remarkable balance of light weight and high rigidity. This is made possible through the use of high-performance materials in each component. The seat is FIA approved and meets the safety standards of the Japanese Road Transport Vehicle Act, making it compliant for vehicle inspections and international formal races and competitions. It has also acquired the FIA8855-1999 standard, demonstrating a high level of safety achieved through rigorous design and quality control. The ZETA IV incorporates the LOWMAX system, previously featured on select seats, which reduces shoulder size to 560mm. This system facilitates a more centered seating position relative to the steering wheel, making it compatible with a wider variety of vehicle types than conventional designs. The seat's construction includes advanced materials for the FRP shells, increasing shell rigidity by 15%. Molded urethane for the seat and thigh cushions enhances comfort and durability, while the new shell shape and vertical slits in the back cushion improve fit from the headrest to the shoulders, maintaining an appropriate driving position.
