Description

This ATK HP89 Chevy 350 Base Engine is a great crate engine that offers 390HP and a noticeable, streetable idle with plenty of power. It features an OE roller block with 4-bolt mains and a 1pc seal, suitable for 1996-2000 applications. The engine has a 4.040” x 3.480” bore and stroke, resulting in 350CI displacement, and includes hypereutectic pistons for 10:1 compression. The oil pan is a rear sump design, which may not be compatible with certain Chevelles, Corvettes, and 1962-1967 Chevy II's. It's recommended to use conventional/non-synthetic 10W30 oil, a Wix or K&N oil filter, and 91+ octane fuel.
