Description

The USA Standard Gear ZP FSD44-4-30UP is a robust steel spool engineered to replace the differential carrier assembly in Dana 44 axles. It is specifically designed for applications requiring 100% lockup and maximum traction, making it suitable for dedicated off-road and drag racing vehicles. The spool features 30 spline axles and is compatible only with 3.92 and up gear ratios. Its design provides continuous 100% traction to both wheels at all times, which is beneficial in extreme off-road or racing scenarios. It is important to note that this type of spool is not recommended for street-driven vehicles as it can cause tire scrub and handling difficulties in normal driving conditions. Furthermore, a customer review indicates that this locker does not fit in a limited-slip carrier. If your differential is a limited-slip type, you will need to purchase an open carrier or a locker that includes its own carrier.
