The Zumbrota Drivetrain RTC241DHD-9 is a remanufactured NP241DHD transfer case designed for specific Dodge Ram applications. This unit is rebuilt to stringent standards by expert craftsmen who inspect and test all internal components for wear, including cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch. Zumbrota employs a proprietary cleaning process using Hydro-blast rinsing and blasting, followed by a deep cleaning procedure to restore cases to an OEM finish. This specific transfer case is configured with a 23-spline input shaft measuring 1.55 inches in exposed length. It features a circular front output yoke and includes provisions for a speedometer gear and a PTO opening. The rear output is a 31-spline slip yoke style with a 1.608-inch diameter shaft. This remanufactured transfer case is noted to be for 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 models equipped with V8 Gas engines and manual transmissions. All units are rebuilt with new bearings, seals, and viscous couplers (where applicable). Each finished transfer case undergoes thorough spin testing to ensure proper shiftability and quiet operation. To prevent damage during transit, all units are shipped in high-density plastic totes. The product comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
