The Zumbrota Performance Axle (ZPA) is a rear axle assembly designed for enhanced performance in situations requiring stronger traction, higher speeds, and increased towing capabilities. This assembly incorporates aftermarket ratios, limited slip differentials, lockers, and high-quality nodular iron differential covers. Zumbrota rebuilds each axle assembly to stringent quality standards, inspecting for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are thoroughly inspected and tested. Bearings and seals are replaced. The chosen gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque.
