The Zumbrota Performance Rear Axle Assembly (RAA435-2258X1) is designed for 2007-2008 GM 1500 Pickups with an 8.6 GM rear axle and a 4.56 ratio (open differential). This assembly is built to handle stronger traction, higher speeds, and heavier towing. It features aftermarket gear upgrades, high-quality nodular steel ZPA differential covers, and undergoes a thorough rebuilding process with inspection of all components and replacement of bearings and seals. Tubes are inspected for straightness, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Zumbrota uses an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning.
