The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assy is a comprehensively rebuilt rear axle assembly for GM 8.6" 10-bolt applications. This unit comes equipped with a 3.23 ratio and Posi Traction (G80), ensuring improved grip and performance for your vehicle. This remanufactured axle assembly undergoes a meticulous process to meet or exceed OEM specifications. Zumbrota Drivetrain inspects all tubes for straightness and tests housings for surface wear and cracks. Internally, 100% of parts, including the ring and pinion, internal gears, clutches, and carrier, are inspected. Critical wear components such as bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced. Further quality assurance includes a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process for the housings, restoring them to an OEM finish. Precision setup is achieved by establishing correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements, contributing to optimal setup and longevity. This assembly is specifically designed for 2009-2011 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon models with the GM 8.6" 10-bolt rear end and GU5 ratio option. It does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
