The Chevrolet Performance ZZ6 EFI Turn-Key Crate Engine offers a blend of modern technology and classic aesthetics, making it ideal for vintage Chevy projects. This 350 cubic inch, Chevy Small-Block V-8 engine boasts a unique electronically controlled port fuel injection system, integrated within an aluminum intake manifold that visually resembles a traditional carburetor setup, allowing for the use of a standard air cleaner. At its core, the ZZ6 utilizes Fast Burn aluminum cylinder heads known for their large intake runners and 2.00/1.55-inch valves, paired with beehive-style valve springs for enhanced high-rpm performance and durability. An aggressive hydraulic roller camshaft complements the engine's airflow capabilities, ensuring strong performance across the RPM range while maintaining good low-speed drivability. The engine assembly includes a cast iron block with 4-bolt main caps, a forged steel crankshaft, and forged powder metal connecting rods. This turn-key package comes with a pre-programmed, self-learning control system, simplifying installation and eliminating the need for third-party tuning. The kit includes the distributor and damper already installed, along with the throttle body, starter, air conditioning pump, alternator, and a single-belt Front-End Accessory Drive Kit.
