Overview

The Chevrolet Performance ZZ6 EFI Turn-Key Crate Engine is a 350ci (5.7L) small-block engine designed for modern performance with a traditional style. It features an electronically controlled port fuel injection system integrated with an aluminum intake manifold that mimics a carbureted appearance, allowing for a traditional air cleaner.

This engine utilizes proven Fast Burn aluminum cylinder heads with large intake runners and beehive-style valve springs for enhanced high-rpm performance and durability. It also includes an aggressive hydraulic roller camshaft for improved airflow and drivability, and a simple plug-and-play control system that eliminates the need for third-party tuning.

The Chevrolet Performance ZZ6 EFI Turn-Key Crate Engine delivers 420 horsepower and 445 lb.-ft. of torque, combining modern performance with a classic aesthetic ideal for vintage Chevy vehicles. It utilizes an electronically controlled port fuel injection system integrated into an aluminum intake manifold that mimics the appearance of a traditional carburetor, allowing for the use of a standard air cleaner. Engineered for high-rpm performance and durability, the ZZ6 features Fast Burn cylinder heads with large intake runners and 2.00/1.55-inch valves, paired with beehive-style valve springs. An aggressive hydraulic roller camshaft complements the engine's airflow characteristics, ensuring both high-rpm power and smooth low-speed drivability. The engine is constructed with a robust cast iron block featuring 4-bolt mains and a forged steel, shot-peened crankshaft. The kit comes with the distributor and damper pre-installed, along with the throttle body, starter, air conditioning pump, alternator, and a single-belt Front-End Accessory Drive Kit. Note that a 12.750" externally balanced, 153-tooth flexplate is required for automatic transmissions, and an externally balanced flywheel is needed for manual transmissions. This engine is not intended for marine applications.
