ZZ632/1000 632ci Big-Block Crate Engine

The Chevrolet Performance ZZ632/1000 Deluxe Crate Engine represents the pinnacle of Big-Block V8 performance, offering an immense 632 cubic inches (10.4L) of displacement within a tall-deck Gen VI design. Engineered for extreme power, this engine boasts an all-forged roller assembly, featuring a billet steel hydraulic roller camshaft, forged 4340 steel crankshaft, and forged aluminum 2618 alloy pistons. Key components include high-flow RS-X design aluminum spread-port cylinder heads with 2.45" intake and 1.80" exhaust titanium valves, a tall-deck Sportsman Bowtie block with 4-bolt main caps, and a dedicated crank-trigger ignition system with coil-near-plug coils. The EFI induction system, paired with an 86-lb/hr fuel injector size and a 4500-style throttle body, ensures precise fuel control for remarkable output on premium pump gas (93 octane or higher). This complete assembly comes with cylinder heads, intake manifold, steel 8-quart oil pan, damper, front cover, water pump, and a 14-inch automatic transmission flexplate installed. However, it requires an internally balanced flywheel for manual transmission applications. The unique cylinder head exhaust port design necessitates a custom exhaust system. Additionally, the throttle body is shipped uninstalled due to crate fitment and must be installed by the engine installer. This engine requires a starter, an EFI-compatible high-pressure fuel pump, and an air cleaner compatible with a 4500-series mounting flange. The ZZ632 is not intended for marine applications.
