ZZ632 632ci Big-Block V-8 Crate Engine

The Chevrolet Performance ZZ632 Crate Engine represents the pinnacle of Big-Block performance, boasting an immense 632 cubic inches and an incredible 1,004 horsepower with 876 lb.-ft. of torque, all on 93-octane pump gas. This engine is built upon a tall-deck cast iron Sportsman Bowtie block, featuring 4-bolt main caps for enhanced durability. Its rotating assembly is fully forged, including a 4340 steel crankshaft, H-beam connecting rods, and 2618 alloy aluminum pistons, ensuring robust performance under extreme conditions. At the heart of the ZZ632 are advanced aluminum spread-port cylinder heads with a proprietary RS-X design, featuring 70cc chambers and 2.450-inch intake and 1.800-inch exhaust titanium valves. A billet steel hydraulic roller camshaft with substantial lift (0.780 intake / 0.782 exhaust) and duration (270º intake / 285º exhaust at 0.050) maximizes airflow and power output. Fuel delivery is managed by an EFI induction system, complete with an aluminum high-rise single-plane intake manifold and 86-lb/hr injectors, controlled by a pre-programmed, self-learning system. Installation of the ZZ632 requires specific considerations. The throttle body is shipped uninstalled and must be fitted by the installer due to crate fitment. Essential accompanying components include a starter, an EFI-compatible high-pressure fuel pump (capable of 125 GPH at 58 PSI), and an air cleaner compatible with a 4500-series (Dominator) mounting flange; note that the Air Cleaner Assembly is not included. The unique cylinder head exhaust port design necessitates a custom exhaust system. For manual transmission applications, an internally balanced flywheel is required. This engine is not intended for marine applications.
