Description

The ZZP 3800 150# Valve Springs are engineered to provide reliable performance when increasing cam lift or maximum engine RPM. These springs offer 150 lbs of pressure, building on ZZPerformance's extensive experience optimizing the 3800 valvetrain for increased horsepower. When boost pressure is increased, it acts on the intake valves, effectively reducing the valve spring's pressure. Installing these upgraded springs allows for higher revving capabilities and increased boost levels without experiencing valve float. For boosted applications aiming to shift above 6000 RPM, these springs are presented as an ideal solution. The recommended install height for these valve springs is 1.80 inches. They are packaged in sets of 12. It is important to note that if you plan to use these springs with older ZZPerformance aluminum heads, the spring pocket will require machining to accommodate the wider base of these springs.
