ZZP 82# Ecotec Valve Springs & Titanium Retainers

The ZZP 82# Ecotec Valve Springs & Titanium Retainers are engineered by ZZPerformance to enhance the reliability and performance of modified Ecotec engines. This kit provides 82 lbs of seat pressure and 200 lbs at .420" lift, with a .500" coil bind specification, ensuring consistent valve control under demanding conditions. Designed for compatibility with all Ecotec 2.0, 2.2, and 2.4 liter engines, this set includes lightweight titanium retainers to reduce valvetrain mass. ZZPerformance offers a specialized valve spring tool (sold separately) to facilitate a smoother installation process. A fitment note regarding newer Ecotec rockers (GM PN: 12693909) issued in 2023 indicates that their increased valve stem height may interfere with the titanium retainers. Owners installing these new rockers should verify fitment before final assembly and may need to modify the rockers by grinding them down. Refer to product images for detailed comparison.
