ZZP Stage 2 Kit

The ZZPerformance LSJ Stage 2 Kit is a comprehensive performance upgrade designed to simplify modifications for your 2005-2007 Cobalt SS or 2004+ Ion Redline. This kit is 'dyno proven' to deliver increased power and reliability by incorporating the necessary supporting modifications for changing your supercharger pulley. The included ECU programming is optimized to command a flat Air/Fuel ratio and adjust timing based on pulley size reductions. Included in this kit are a ZZP modular pulley hub with screws, a ZZP modular aluminum pulley in your selected size, and (if selected) an ECU with ZZP programming. It also comes with four NGK BKR7E spark plugs (PN-4644) with a .035" gap, four Siemens 60# injectors with di-electric grease, and an EV6 injector adapter harness. You will also receive either the ZZP Stage 2 belt, an Oversized (OS) tensioner pulley, or the ZZP adjustable tensioner, along with instructions for individual parts. When selecting your pulley size, ZZP recommends a 3.1" pulley for users running 91 octane fuel. For those with a ZZP downpipe and 93 octane, a 3.0" pulley is suggested. The 2.9" pulley is recommended for users who also plan to install 60# injectors, a larger heat exchanger, dual pass endplate, header/downpipe, and run 93 octane fuel. For the tensioner/belt option, the ZZP adjustable tensioner is highly recommended for its comprehensive adjustability and ease of use. The ZZP Stage 2 belt is a popular choice but may experience slippage with smaller pulleys, and the Oversized tensioner pulley requires modifying the factory tensioner for clearance. The 60# injectors included in this kit are capable of supporting up to approximately 375whp on pump gas, significantly outperforming the stock 33# injectors which are maxed out with a 3.35" pulley, and the 42# injectors which are maxed with a 3.1" pulley. Note that if your vehicle requires E-Check emissions testing, you must select the 'sending core' or 'email a file' option for the PCM, as a flashed core with an incorrect VIN will prevent passing the test. Additionally, our ZZP 3" Regal catback exhaust system will NOT fit this kit due to the included downpipe. You will need to remove the stock pulley from your supercharger; a pulley puller is available for rent or purchase.
