This transmission undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process including teardown, triple cleaning, valve body rebuild and test, and reassembly with new seals and gaskets.

The FNR5 5-Speed Automatic Transmission from Powertrain Products is a fully remanufactured unit built to meet or exceed original equipment (OE) specifications. This transmission is specifically designed to fit 2006-2010 Mazda 3 and Mazda 5 vehicles. A cooler replacement is required for installation. Each transmission is subjected to a comprehensive remanufacturing process. This includes complete teardown and triple cleaning, during which all threads are chased and new bushings are installed. The valve body is meticulously rebuilt and tested using a C.A.R.S. system that simulates real-world driving conditions to ensure proper functionality. All new o-rings, gaskets, and seals are used during reassembly. Finally, every transmission is dyno-tested to confirm it is ready for reliable road use.
